About the Project

Gun violence in Philadelphia is a preventable problem.

Journalists have the power to make choices that can greatly contribute to the solutions we need.

The Survivor Connection is a new tool intended to help them take a more informed approach by centering the survivor community when reporting on this national public health crisis.

Philadelphia journalists are invited to access this directory of local community experts who feel willing and prepared to share their stories and propose possible solutions.
